History:
The Riviera Beach unit opened in 1991 in the City of Riviera Beach’s former fire station. After reaching capacity within two years, the Club moved to the former Riviera Beach Elementary School site, where it remains today. The current facility is situated on 4 acres of land leased from the City and is centrally located within walking distance of the community’s inner city areas. The club is now in the midst of a capital and endowment campaign to build a new 21,000 square foot, state of the art facility which will include a learning center, computer lab, arts & crafts center, game room, teen center, kitchen and gymnasium.
Current Facilities:
13,000 square feet
2 game rooms, technology center, library, kitchen/snack bar, guidance and leadership room, arts & crafts, prevention services center, fitness center, basketball courts, outdoor play areas.
Programs:
We offer daily access to a broad range of programs in six core program areas: character and leadership development; education and career development; health and life skills; the arts; sports, fitness and recreation, and technology. Here are a few examples of some of these programs:
